Our fun Moot Dog Show in September made a record amount of £600.

It was a success on all fronts – dogs, owners, children, and the organisers. We had the usual wonderful help with sound by Jeremy and his extraordinary crew, dedicated time by our top Judge, Wendy (in between On-Call and Coursework!), and eloquent interviews by Hamish, dressed appropriately as compere. Mandy and Lesley were a great tour de force on the Agility – and did numerous demonstrations to encourage people to enter their dogs. Andy and Jane Smith’s Gun Dog demo helped set the scene at the beginning and create an atmosphere of concentration and calm (dogs and owners alike).

Classes included:

The Prettiest Bitch:  winner Purdy (owner Jo)
The Most Handsome Dog: winner Mocha (owner Dominic)
The Dog with the Waggiest Tail: Sidney (owner Mike)
The Best Young Handler (under 11): Lexi (handler Madison)
The Biggest Personality: Bruno (owner Gemma)
Fastest in Agility: Zola (owner Alison)
Best in Show: Purdy and Jo Fossy

Cakes, scones and copious cups of tea were sold and a Dog themed raffle proved a hit too.

Thanks to everyone for making the Moot look fantastic for the event.
